Geocache Description:


In 1895 an Isolation Hospital was built on what is now Gordon Court.  In 1956 the hospital was no longer required and was converted into one house, four flats, four garages and eight bungalows, it was named Gordon Court in honour of Matron Gordon who was very well regarded in the hospital.  More information about the hospital and Loose can be found on the Loose Area History site under Loose Threads.
