Westkapelle staat bekend om haar vuurtorens. De grootste vuurtoren van Westkapelle wordt Westkapelle Hoog of het Zuiderhoofd genoemd.
De vuurtoren was vroeger onderdeel van de Willebrordus kerk, gebouwd van 1458 tot 1470. Sinds 1817 deed de toren als dienst als vuurtoren. In 1831 was er een brand en is de schepen van de kerk afgebrand. De toren is blijven staan en heeft in 1910 de rode kap er bovenop gekregen. De toren heeft zes verdiepingen en is 53 meter hoog. De vuurtoren is al van kilometers ver te zien en staat in de hoofdstraat de Zuidstraat. De lichtsterkte van de vuurtoren is 2,6 miljoen candela(kaars), elke 3 seconden komt er een lichtstraal voorbij, hierdoor wordt de vuurtoren van Westkapelle herkent door voorbij komende schepen.
Door de jaren heen heeft de vuurtoren door zijn functie al menig leven gered en is door veel kunstenaars als inspiratie bron gebruikt, Mondriaan is ongetwijfeld 1 van de bekendste.
Ook heeft Westkapelle een kleinere vuurtoren 't Lage ‘Licht of het Noorderhoofd.
‘t Hoge Licht en ‘t Lage Licht samen vormen een lichtlijn naar het Oostgat.
Direct achter de vuurtoren liggen de graven van de 157 slachtoffers van het bombardement in 1944 en de dagen erna tot de bevrijding van Westkapelle.
Deze vuurtoren is normaal geopend voor het publiek om te beklimmen. Bovenop de toren is het een schitterend uitzicht over Westkapelle, de zee en diverse dorpen in de omgeving.

Westkapelle is known for its lighthouses. Westkapelle's largest lighthouse is called Westkapelle Hoog or the Zuiderhoofd.

The tower was left standing and in 1910 the red cap was put on top of it. The tower has six floors and is 53 meters high. The lighthouse can be seen from miles away and is located in the main street the Zuidstraat. The light strength of the lighthouse is 2.6 million candelas (candle), a ray of light passes by every 3 seconds, this is how the lighthouse of Westkapelle is recognized by
passing ships. Through the years the lighthouse has saved many lives by its function and has been used by many artists as a source of inspiration, Mondriaan is undoubtedly one of the best known.
Westkapelle also has a smaller lighthouse 't Lage 'Licht or the Noorderhoofd.
The High Light and the Low Light together form a line of light to the Oostgat.
Directly behind the lighthouse are the graves of the 157 victims of the 1944 bombardment. and the days after until the liberation of Westkapelle.
This lighthouse is normally open for the public to climb. On top of the tower it is a magnificent view over Westkapelle, the sea and several villages in the area.
