Tokyo Eki Stamp Series (東京駅スタンプシリーズ)
Tokyo is a city blessed with what is often dubbed as the best public transportation system in the world. Tokyo's train and subway network is unrivalled - spotless, quiet and almost always on time.
Most Japan Railway stations have something in common, a unique stamp reflecting that station's history. Kids and train nerds often buy cute little books to collect the stamps of all the stations they've been to. In this series, we take a deeper look at the network that kept me moving in the half a year I spent in Tokyo, through the lens of train station stamps!
JR Chuo-Sobu Line (Local)(中央・総武緩行線)
The JR Chuo-Sobu Line (Local) runs on separate tracks to rapid services, on the Chuo Main Line and Sobu Main Line right of ways. The line connects Chiba with Mitaka via Musashino and the Tokyo metropolitan region.
There are two types of service on the Chuo-Sobu Line (Local) service. The first stops all stations between Chiba and Mitaka. The other type of service is a through service with the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. Tokyo Metro through services run all stops between Tsudanama and Nishi Funabashi on the Eastern side and Nakano and Mitaka on the Western side.
