When I was going through the process of hiding this my dog, Clara, quietly jumped out the car window and took off. I didn't notice until I driven away. Our other dog, Cache, usually "tells" me if Clara does something naughty, but he didn't tattle on her this time. I was several blocks away before I realized she was not in the car. I frantically raced back, but she was no where to be seen. Over 3 and a 1/2 hours later with family members in 3 different vehicles scouring the area, many tears shed and MANY prayers said, a wonderful stranger called my phone to tell say he had found her- quite a distance from where we were searching and across a very busy multi-lane road. The man who cornered and "captured" her and called to let us know he had her was the answer to our countless prayers. It's currently COVID-19 pandemic time and with everyone self-distancing themselves, we are so grateful this man was willing to take the time to save our dog and not let the self-distancing directive stop him. Thank you kind and wonderful stranger!!!
