Welcome to Brattle Brook Park! There are many mowed paths throughout these fields. This one will be easy to get you started. All caches on the west side of parking will be themed for the original farms of Pittsfield.
Brattle Brook Park used to be a dairy farm owned by the Allessio Family. This land was sold to the City of Pittsfield in July of 1969 after almost 70 years. It is 126 acres and unofficially has the oldest Elm tree in Pittsfield. The farm won the Green Acres Program Award in 1955 which identified the best farm in New England. President Eisenhower came to the Big E to present this award.
