Download your “Visit Centre County” GeoTour passport and/or your Jr. Geocaching Passport.  Return your passport to the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau in the ground floor of the Beaver Avenue parking garage, 200 West Beaver Avenue, when complete and collect your prize if you meet the minimum requirements!  

This Geocache:

In 1850 Squire Clement Beckwith named this Borough after his daughter, Matilda.  The McFeely Brick Company, founded by Fred McFeely, used beehive kilns to make bricks from ganister rock.   The Bald Eagle Railroad came through to carry agricultural and lumber products. Permission for this geocache was given by the borough council.

You can park at the posted coordinates.  The terrain will be more bushwhacky in the growing season. Find the coordinates for the geocache in the photo of the park:

This is a picture of the park. The plants say N40. The rock wall says 47. The sky says 901. The slide shows W78. The trees show 03. And the water shows 262.
