The smokestack from Wisconsin's first sawmill, built in 1847, still stands in Abe Rochlin Park. Abe Rochlin Park was formerly the site of various factories from a time when Oshkosh was known as Sawdust City due to all the sawmills. This 5 acre site includes fishing, volleyball courts, playground equipment, restrooms, and a picnic shelter as well as a great view of the Fox River.
