Anchor ye ships and search for the pirate treasure just off of the Muscoot Reservoir! A few goodies are included for a handful of FTF'ers.
This is a relatively new trail in Old Golden's Bridge (ribbon cutting was held on 9/23/2018). The trailhead is directly across from the driveway to the train station parking lot. Enter there and look for the map on the kiosk.
Follow the trail northwest, then along the NYSEG right-of-way, along the reservoir (observing the view, the historic bridge, and maybe some Old Katonah foundations), and then loop back to the train station parking lot along Old Bedford Road. The 1-and-a-half to 2-mile trail is only partially marked with blue blazes, so the Land Trust suggests taking a map with you or a photo of the map with your phone.
Parking, on weekends, is available at the train station parking lot, directly across from the trailhead. During the week, cars can park in the DEP dirt parking lot at the end of Old Bedford Road, past the cul de sac.
