Runway 27 at the Mildura Arport is a 6004ft runway which is elevated 160ft above sea level.
This is the largest runway that runs east to west and is used but the much larger commercial aircraft like Qantas, Rex and Virgin who have daily flights to and from Mildura.
The Royal Australian Airforce also use Mildura as a training strip and often are often seen flying their Boeing P-8 Poseidon Multimission Maritime Aircraft (Boeing 737-800), the E-7A Wedgetail (Boeing 737-700), a modifeid Boeing 737-800 used as a 30 seat business jet and a Dessault Falcon F7X just to name a few.
There is also alof of general aviation activity and a chinese flight school are also currently opperating out of mildura.

This cach should be an easy find with a bit of looking.
There is a little space for small items only.

Parking is available off the Highway or Walnut ave for a short walk to the cach location.
