Geocache Description:

Our very first hide. We thought the children's forest in the Eastern Block of Cumberland's trail network would be a great start, since no one else has placed a cache here. Easiest access is from Trent River Main, but Monday's Child is a really lovely trail if you you walk/bike from the BMX park trailhead instead. Boardwalks, swamps, huge trees, bridges and more. Plenty to see and explore. Directions from Trent River Main - coming from the main road, turn in at the first trailhead. Keep right, you'll see signs to the entrance of Monday's Child. Past this sign, you'll see the big nurse log where the cache is hidden. Directions from entrance of community forest behind the BMX park - cross the bridge, take the first entrance to Monday's Child. You will have to walk a fair bit this way, over many boardwalks and bridges. Enjoy the huge fir along the way, see if you can spot the rat, the face in the stump and a little fairy house ... at the end of all the boardwalks and bridges, just before the trail intersects with Wednesday's child, you'll see the very large nurse log ... There's a treasure chest waiting to be found. BYOP. Sparkly treasure awaits the first 18 finders.
