Welcome to Fireman's Park, an undeveloped park owned by the city of Kirkwood. The park is behind the historic Firehouse #2 at 11808 Big Bend Blvd. There is parking along the west side of the firehouse and also some more visitor's parking in front. Please park only in approved parking places or the firemen might just get out the Jaws of Life and practice on your cache mobile. This is the third cache I've hidden here, and it is close to where my first hide here was.
This cache is hidden near the old bunker or whatever that once was. It is not inside of the bunker. You are looking for a medium sized lock & lock container. You can look inside the bunker if you want, it is only the size of a small closet, 6'x6'. The cache is near the bunker however. Please replace it in it's hiding place and cover it back up. I found the blade of an old shovel that I used to partly cover the cache, when you find that you are close.
