Biggleswade's first trail!

This geocache is part of a 11 cache series around different areas of Biggleswade. This geocache is in the Planets Estate area of Biggleswade

During lockdown, I’ve been exploring Biggleswade in my daily doses of exercise as much as possible, and I have discovered so many areas of Biggleswade that I didn’t even know existed. I saw that many of these locations were also lacking geocaches, so I decided to share these places with you in the form of geocaching. The Planets Estate are named after planets because Biggleswade renamed its Cub Scout groups during the space race of the 1960s with Scouts being called after astronauts (Urwin and Armstrong), Cubs after planets (Mars, Jupiter and Neptune) and Beavers after space programmes (Apollo, Gemini and Mercury). The council made the decision to honour the contributions Scouts have made to the community after 100 trees were planted between Chambers Way and Saxon Way to commemorate the 2009 Cub Scout Jubilee.
