Ostrič (po domače, Žabnik) leži dobre 4 kilometre od zaselka Zagrad. Do vrha vodita dve poti, makadamska in gozdna.

Le nekaj metrov po prometnemu znaku opazimo kolovoz, ki se s ceste usmeri v desno in se začne sprva zložno vzpenjati (začetek ni označen). Že kmalu opazimo prvo markacijo, ki nam pove, da smo na pravi poti. Naprej se zmerno vzpenjamo po kolovozu, ki višje preide iz gozda na travnata pobočja obdana s posameznimi drevesi (povečini bor). Pot se tu položi in nekoliko naprej zavije rahlo v desno, kjer tudi pridemo do označenega razpotja.
Samo še nekaj metrov do vrha.
Nadaljujemo v smeri Ostriča, Slavnika in Razsušice (levo ribnik 30 minut) po poti, ki se začne vzpenjati proti neizrazitemu sedelcu med Ostričem na levi in manj znano Grižo na desni. Tej poti sledimo do mesta, kjer bomo pred seboj opazili večjo vrtačo. Tu se kolovoz nadaljuje naravnost, markirana peš pot pa zavije v levo in se začne strmo vzpenjati po neporaščenem pobočju Ostriča. Tej za kratek čas bolj strmi poti sledimo vse do vrha Ostriča s katerega se nam odpre lep razgled.

Path, where you can go on foot (look at markation!)
Ostrič (locals also call it Žabnik) lies approximately 4 kilometres from a settlement called Zagrad. There are two routes that lead to the top; macadam road and a forest trail.
Path that leads to the cache.
Only few meters after the traffic sign we notice a path which goes to the right from the road and starts at first gently ascending (beginning isn't marked). We soon notice the first blaze, which shows us, that we are on the right path. Further, we are moderately ascending on a path which higher passes out of the forest on grassy slopes surrounded by individual trees (mostly pine tree). Path here flattens and a little further turns slightly to the right, where we also come to a marked crossing.
Just a few more meters to the cache.
We continue in the direction of Ostrič, Slavnik and Razsušica (left pond 30 minutes) on the path which starts ascending towards the indistinct saddle between Ostrič on the left and less known Griža on the right. We follow this path to the spot, where we will notice a larger sinkhole in front of us. Here the path continues straight, and marked footpath turns to the left and starts ascending steeply on an un-vegetated slope of Ostrič. For a short time, we follow this steeper path all the way to the peak of Ostrič from which a nice view opens up.

Der Weg, wo wir zu Fuß gehen (sehe die Markierungen!)
Der Gehweg Ostrič (auf heimischen auch Žabnik gennant) liegt gute 4 Kilometer weit weg von Zagrad. Bis zum Gipfel gibt es zwei Gehwege, eine über Makadamstraße und die andere über den Wald.
Der Weg, der uns zum Cache führt.
Nur ein paar Meter vom Verkehrszeichen entfernt finde wir einen Fahrweg, den man von der Straße rechts sieht und sich steil aufstiegt (es gibt keinen Anfang). Schon bald sehen wir die erse Markierung, die uns sagt, das wir auf dem richtigen Weg sind. Zuerst müssen wir uns steil hinauf bringen, der vom Wald bis in die Grasslegion uns führt. Der Weg geht dann eben und geht ein bisschen nach rechts, wo wir auch auf einen Kreuzweg kommen.
Nur noch ein paar Meter bis zum Gipfel.
Wir gehen dann fohrt nach Ostrič, Slavnik und Razsušice (links vor dem Fischteich 30 minuten Gehweg) über den Gehweg, der sich steil nach oben beugt, zwischen Ostrićz auf der linken und den nicht so gewussten Grižo auf der rechten. Dieser Gehweg folgt bis zur Stelle, wo wir dann weiter bis zur Karsttrichter kommen. Hier geht der Gehweg gerade entlang, er geht auf die linke ud dann kommt ergerade aus. Dann nach kurzer Zeit langen Gehweg gehen wir bis zum Ostrič, wo sich uns auch ein schöner Ausblick entfacht.
