About this cache: You are looking for a lock ‘n’ lock container along the White Trail at Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills State Park. The White Trail is a narrow trail along the Hudson River.
The annual Fall Flower Show at the Armory in Rhinebeck was a popular affair. Ogden Mills, as well as Frederick Vanderbilt, Stuyvesant Fish, Winthrop Sargent, and William Clyde were just a few of the locals who entered their floral crops each year. Many of the competitions took place in the fall. Therefore, the types of flowers always stayed constant. They were flowers that bloomed and thrived in the fall. Various roses, violets, carnations, chrysanthemums, and Killarney roses were the most popular flowers that were entered into the competitions.
