About this cache: You are looking for an ammo can along the White Trail at Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills State Park. The White Trail goes along the Hudson River, high above its shoreline. The views are awesome!
Chrysanthemums were another popular Hudson Valley flower. Ogden Mills entered chrysanthemums in many agricultural competitions. He grew white, yellow, and pink chrysanthemums. Chrysanthemums were often shown in vases that highlighted their long stems. In 1913, Ogden Mills came in second behind F.W. Vanderbilt for all colors, and second behind Stuyvesant Fish when he entered white chrysanthemums. In 1911, he won first prize for chrysanthemums in any color.
