This Cache is placed as part of the 2020 Taconic Region Geocache Challenge.  Please see MN 1 for details on the challenge.

About this cache:   You are looking for a bird house field puzzle container at the Taconic Regional Office.   You must solve the puzzle to get the combination to the lock, open the container, and get to the log book and stamp.

Floral shows were not just an event that was fashionable in the Hudson Valley. In fact, Ogden Mills’ daughter-in-law, Dorothy Randolph Fell, entered a few floral shows herself in the late 1920s and 1930s. In newspaper articles, she is listed as Mrs. Ogden L. Mills. The floral shows she entered happened in Long Island and in in New York City. These floral shows occurred in the fall as well.

ENTERING YOUR COMBINATION

STEP 1: Turn the dial three times to the right, then stop when the first letter lines up with the indicator.

STEP 2: Turn the dial ONE full turn to the left, passing the first letter, and stop when the second letter lines up with the indicator.

STEP 3: Turn the dial to the right and stop when the third letter lines up with the indicator.

STEP 4: Either pull up on the shackle, or pull the lock down to open the lock.
