Our "Awesome " series celebrates the 20th anniversary of Geocaching and the awesome cachers who have placed and maintained the other caches we have enjoyed here in Friendly Feilding, an awesome place to live.
Manawatu District Council is progressively improving and beautifying the banks of the Markino Stream as it meanders through central Feilding, providing pathways for gentle strolling, biking or jogging and seating for that necessary break or lunch stop. Just the place for a cache or two!
The area around GZ was originally the old community swimming baths and later a skating rink when Feilding was home to nationally recognised skaters. Now it is a convenient carpark with a popular take away business and op-shop close by so there could be muggles a plenty depending on the day and time that you come hunting.
The cache is a plastic screw top pill bottle.
