You are looking for a bison tube container at Denning's Point.

In 1781 Alexander Hamiliton rented a home at DePeyster's Point (Now Denning's Point). With George Washington across the Hudson at his headquarters, Hamilton felt he could badger Washington for a field command position.  Hamilton wrote a number of letters while living here. The most important was written to Robert Morris, the new US Superintendent of Finance. "Hamilton's very long letter...presented a complete system for bolstering American credit, including the necessity of founding a national bank." Hamilton continued writing, and historians believe that Hamilton penned articles that were precursors to the Federalist Papers here at Denning's Point.
