While driving along US Hwy 56/Santa Fe Trail, noticed a sign. Decided to investigate. It is a sign depicting where the Santa Fe Trail crossed in the immediate area.
Nothing fancy here. You will be searching for a magnetic KEY HOLDER sandwiched between 2 signs roughly 6' high.
In order to get to this site, travel east/west along US Hwy 56 between the towns of Council Grove/Allen, KS. When you arrive at the intersection with 500 Road, turn north and travel roughly 1/2 mile or less. Sign will be easily seen on west side of this well maintained gravel road. No need to cross any fences.
