Wood Duck Multi-Cache

Multi cache that starts in the Rainbow River and finishes in the Withlacoochee River. There are 9 Wood Duck nesting boxes that you must view to obtain numbers for the coordinates of the final cache container. The numbers are the large numbers that follow the word "BOX". The numbers are visible from at least 50 feet, so no need to disturb the nesting sites. Some boxes are near each other so be sure to pick the correct one. Record either the first or second digit of the number as indicated in the "Additional Waypoints" section below. THE WAYPOINTS ARE NOT IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER ALONG THE RIVER. Former waypoint J was at the same location as the starting coordinates and is the most upstream box. HOWEVER, IT IS NO LONGER NECESSARY TO VISIT THIS LOCATION AS THAT THE NUMBER IS NO LONGER ON THE BOX. If you did not launch at or have not paddled to the headspring it is worth adding to your adventure. Final cache is located on the Withlacoochee River at N29 AB.CDE W82 FG.HI1. You may need to exit your watercraft to reach the cache. Shallow, good hard bottom at the final cache site.

The Rainbow River gets a lot of boat, kayak and tube traffic, off hours are recommended if you prefer solitude.
