The name comes from all the crickets we saw in the water during our kayaking trip. The best access point for this cache is from Sen Bob Johnson's Landing off Rt 41 just east of River road in Venice. There is good parking nearby and a great launch spot for kayaks. As usual when on the water bring lots of water and appropriate safety gear. A great place to get out and paddle about.
The container is a camo'd pill bottle tied into a tree well above the waterline. I floated right into the hiding spot.
