#9 Cessnock to Millfield
Welcome to Millfield
At last you have arrived in our little, peaceful community of Millfield. Millfield is a suburb of Cessnock. As of the 2016 census the population was 1,006. No doubt it has grown since the new housing development at Rosehill has been completed. This estate has blocks of land of around 1 acre. There will be more housing going ahead soon but these blocks will be smaller blocks of land.
This cache is on the opposite side of the road to the “Welcome to Cessnock” sign. Wollombi can be busy at times but it is safe to walk across the road. Just make sure children are supervised. You don’t have to venture too far into the bush. There are some prickly plants there so please be careful.
