Retovje Multi-Cache

Retovje je zatrepna dolina, ki se zajeda pod vznožje Ljubljanskega vrha in Raskovca ter je nastala s postopnim udiranjem stropa nad nekdanjimi jamami. Tu izvira Velika Ljubljanica, ki se sredi Verda združi z Malo Ljubljanico iz Močilnika. Od sotočja dalje se reka imenuje Ljubljanica. Ob številnih izvirih (Pod skalco, Pod orehom, Malo okence, Veliko okence …) je stalo v 19. stoletju več kot deset žag venecijank.

Retovje is a slightly hidden valley in the wooded foothills of the Raskovec Hill and the Ljubljana Peak. It was formed by a gradual collapse of cave roofs. In this valley lie the springs of the Big Ljubljanica, which joins the Little Ljubljanica from Močilnik and Verd. From here on the river is called Ljubljanica. There are number of springs in the valley: Pod skalco, Pod Orehom, Malo Okence and Veliko Okence. In the 19th century there were more than ten water powered sawmills here.
