One of the best parts of geocaching is all the great people that you meet! During the quarantine, caching, hiking, and solving puzzles have been some of the things I really look forward to! So, I decided to return the favor by hiding something new to get everyone puzzling and enjoying the outdoors.
There is nothing located at the posted coordinates, but it is a convenient parking lot. To find the real coordinates for the cache, you will need to solve a logic puzzle. You must discover who hid each cache (Mollyjr, Softbyte, Fishingguru, or Scubakirbaquacacher), what type of container was hidden (bison tube, fake log, pinecone, or ammo can), who got the first to find (Slebodpa, Hamster1!, Rocketrobin52, or Pi31415sky), and what the Difficulty rating of each cache (1,2,3 or 4) was. See the gallery for puzzle grid.
The Clues-
- The cache that Hamster1! found was not a pinecone container.
- The person who hid the geocache that slebodpa found has more letters in his/her geocaching name then the person who hid the cache with a difficulty of 2.
- Of person who hid the cache with a difficulty of 1 and the person who hid the cache with a difficulty of 4, one was found by Pi31415sky and the other was hid by the cacher with exactly 7 letters in her geocaching name.
- The hider with 8 letters in his geocaching name did not hide a cache with the difficulty of 2.
- Either Mollyjr or Softbyte hid a bison tube.
- The cache that has a difficulty of 2 is a pinecone container!
- The cache that Pi31415sky found was an ammo can full of tradeables.
- Slebodpa did not find the well- hidden bison tube.
- The hider of the cache with the difficulty of 4 has less letters in his/her geocaching name than the person who hid the cache that Pi31415sky found.
Now it’s time to solve for the coordinates! Use the information from the puzzle to find the correct coordinates.
