As you may have seen, Canberra has started to see Reverse Wherigo's popping up. They represent more than 50% of all Wherigo's worldwide and 80% of new ones....according to the interwebs at least. Of the 220 Wherigo's I have completed.... about half have been Reverse Wherigo's, nearly all from a huge SA desert GeoArt. (My god, I did so many really hard online jigsaw puzzles to get those numbers!)

Reverse Wherigo's make creating a cartridge trivial...because you don't have to, what could be easier.
Reverse Wherigo's make downloading cartridges almost as easy, as you only have to download it once and you can use it again, and again, and again, for every new Reverse Wherigo cache that comes out, anywhere in the world.
Now, the traditional way to solve them is to plug in the three numbers from the cache listing into the cartidge and then keep opening it. It will tell you each time how far you are away from the cache location, but NOT the direction. You quickly work out that there is no limit to how many times you open the page so you pretty much do it continously..... the distance will go down.... if you are going in the right direction of course.

Alternatively, there are multiple online tools that skip the requirement to open or download the Reverse Wherigo cartridge....you don't even have to install Wherigo on your device, you simply enter the three numbers and the tool outputs the exact coordinates! I did my first half a dozen or so Reverse Wherigo's the traditional way, which quickly became very tedious. Once I discovered the decoder tools I haven't looked back. Not everyone knows about these tools though, so to make sure those FTF chases are fair, I list a few here:

Obviously you should use the method of solving that you enjoy and meets your needs.....GZ is very close so I encourage everyone to use the 'traditional method' to experience the full Reverse Wherigo experience.
