Riverton Cemetery
A small cemetery located on Midway Ave just off the Avenue of the Saints about midway between Charles City and Nashua Iowa. Perhaps that is how the name of the road that this cemetery is located on got its name. Interesting also (at least to me), it is also about midway between our home in Mason City and our daughters place in Cedar Falls. I couldn't even guess how many times we have gone past this area over the years.
This well kept cemetery has a number of old headstones but also you will find new ones as well. Therefore, as with all cemetery caches be respectfull at all times. Do Not cache at night and if there should be a burial service in progress it may be best to come back at another time.
