Recently (2 months ago) Mrs W had a milestone birthday and received this cache container as a gift. This is the first opportunity we have had to place it due to Covid 19. We think GZ suits the container or is it the container suits GZ?
We would not recommend finding the cache at night due to hidden holes in the ground and cliffs nearby.
Goat Bluff has an interesting history which may not be known to you. Here you can find trenches and underground concrete structures. The structures were constructed during World War II along with the more well known Fort Direction base in South Arm. Fort Direction was the defence to the Port of Hobart along with Fort Pierson across the Derwent at Tinderbox.
Please head to the listed coordinates where you will find one of these structures with a hidden room. Please enter the structure via the trench and you will come across a room. The room currently has calf high water in it. It is not necessary to enter the room, just stand and shine the torch at the back wall to locate 4 numbers which will become ABCD. You will need these numbers to calculate GZ.
