Dieser Weg kreuzte auch schon damals die Bahnstrecke. Eine Bank mitten auf den Gleisen wäre aber wohl undenkbar gewesen. Man hätte von hier sicher das geschäftige Treiben am Hauptbahnhof Menzelen beobachten können.
