*WARNING*
The carpark coordinates may be 4WD in wet conditions. There is safe parking on the road about 400m before turning onto the gravel.
Whilst the park is small, it does not have many visitors or a lot of formed tracks to follow. If you got into trouble, the liklihood anyone would come across you within 48hrs is low. Make sure you're well prepared, including:
-Personal safety beacon
-First aid kit
-GPS
-Plenty of water, lunch and snacks
-Layers of clothing for cold conditions
-Sunscreen
LITTLE FOREST
This cache is located within Bungal State Forest, which is a small pocket of bushland tucked between the Moorabool river and Bungal farmlands. If you do this walk as intended loop, it will be about 12km, 5hr circuit. It will follow an attractive section of the river, and you will see remains of various gold workings. In winter and spring the Forest is alive with vivid displays of wattle and orchids. Although there are no official foottrails in the area, you'll see many etablished tracks to follow that are not on the map to guide you along the way.
