This cache is located near the parking area where route 480 meets the TCH.
Route 480 will take you to the beautiful community of Burgeo, where you can also travel to the communities of Ramea, Grey River and Francois by Ferry. Burgeo is the home of one of our provinces hidden gems! Sandbanks Provincial Park boasts miles of white sandy beaches and many beautiful walking trails! We highly recommend taking the 147 km drive to explore this beautiful area! You will find many other geocaches along your travels. The wildlife and beautiful scenery will not disappoint!
Unfortunately the parking area where we have placed this cache seems to always be full of litter that people throw out of their vehicles. We would like to issue a challenge to all geocachers that find the cache we have placed here to bring along a garbage bag and pick up some litter while you are here! It’s our responsibility to take care of this beautiful planet! Cache in, trash out!
