This cache is a regular-size lock-and-lock hidden along a wide trail without markings that leaves the road to the Canopus Lake complex at the indicated trailhead coordinates. The closest parking is the Canopus Lake parking lot, which requires a fee or an Empire Pass. You may also park at Pelton Pond and follow trails to and across Route 301. You may find a Fahnestock trail map at the park's webpage. The name of the cache gives a hint to the general location of the cache.
