Geocache Description:


The crows nest on a ship was just a barrel lashed to the top of the mast for a lookout to stand in, later they were purpose built platforms with railings.

You are near 50 Mtr of the crows Nest on top of a pole it was placed there by the electricity board when a section of cable was put under ground and the pole became redundant. The farmer says that he is not aware that it has ever been used. Think you would hear a Hoot rather than a Caw as it is intended for Owl's.
