This geocache is in Square Trees at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park.
Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park is a primary gateway site for the Tees Forest. The park was established in 1995, with over 300, 000 trees planted, and has now become a valuable resource for recreation, education and conservation.
This is a lovely area to explore and we discovered this with our 2 girls during thr Covid 19 crisis.
To get to the geocache you must go through a metal gate and follow the permissable path for Northumbria water.
This geocache is small but brightly coloured.
You will need tweezers to remove the log and a pencil/pen to write in it.
