Geocache Description:

COPCO was an acronym referring to the California Oregon Power Company which dates back to the early 1900s. This road goes from Hwy 66 (Green Springs Road) all the way to Interstate 5 near Hornbrook. It is not open to the public beyond about 8 miles from Hwy 66 as it passes through a couple private ranches. COPCO Road parallels Jenny Creek for most of the way. It is also the road on the west side of the Pokegama Wild Horse Herd Management Area. You can take side roads to the east and go through the 2014 Oregon Gulch Fire. This area was completely burned but there are still meadows along the springs and a few bunches of trees that survived the fire. Anywhere in this area you make see a few wild horses.

You are looking for a nut container with log and swag. Please rehide well. Not much parking but just pull to the side of the road. Accessible by most vehicles but if muddy use caution.

Elevation 3,647'
