When you are excited about Halloween decorating and hopefully being able to have a Haunted Hike this year and being over this pandemic, no time to start like the present. A little micro sits there hanging, waiting for the Halloween season to come upon us and scary decorations put into place. The cache contains only a log so for now, you will need to BYOP and tweezers may be required to retrieve log.
I drove into Great Pond at the time of the hide which is something I had never done before in the car but extremely carefully. You pass 2 large puddles on the way in to Great Pond and the rest of the hike in was perfectly dry at the time of the hide. Before this one there was a small river to rock hop across but not being a rock hopper myself, anyone can and with being so small it should be gone when the weather warms up.
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2020
Upon taking a little stroll in the area with Slothlover10 and Aubree2 to check on the Haunted Hike caches, we found the area has been taken over by creepy characters. Much scarier than last year's hike! Be very careful and you look for caches as you won't know who is waiting to jump out at you!
A new small sized cache has been put in place in a new location (over the previous micro), new log added, new swag, decorations, painted rocks and a trackable, The Adams Family TB9MXFF, ready to go for the 2020 Haunted Hike September 27 - October 31.
HAVE A SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!
