This cache is a Wherigo cache that starts at the AT overnight camping area near Canopus Lake, takes you up the north section of the Blue Trail to the AT, south on the AT past an overlook with excellent views to the southern section of the AT, and then back to the Canopus Lake Complex, not far from the location of the actual cache (final).
The closest parking is the Canopus Lake parking lot, which requires a fee or an Empire Pass. You may also park at Pelton Pond and follow trails to and across Route 301. You may find a Fahnestock trail map at the park's webpage.
