Geocache Description:


We have been thinking about putting a geocache at this location for two or three years and finally decided to do it before someone else did.  this the first cache we have placed in over 1-1/2 years, so it was time.  When I was a young boy, I had a comic book that told the story of Smokey Bear and how he was found as a young cub after a forest fire.  I have always remember that Smokey said, "Only you can prevent forest (or wild) fires,"  so please remember to always be careful with fire.  Always make sure your camp fires are completely out, don't throw burning cigarettes or matches out of your car window, and also remember that personal fireworks are illegal in Nevada.  Every year, Nevada loses millions of acres to wild fires, so please do your part to prevent them.

Note:  There is a nice, safe place to pull off from the highway. There is a special prize wrapped around the cache container for the FTF!  Happy caching and have fun!
