Cerkev Marije Vnebovzete v Tržišču pred katero stojite je bila iz kapele katera je bila zgrajena v 13. stoletju nato v 17. stoletju povečana in dograjena v romansko cerkev. Celotna notranjost kapele je poslikana s freskami, katere pa danes pod ometom. Freske pripadajo furlanski slikarski smeri iz obdobja okoli leta 1400. Pokopališče poleg cerkve je bilo opuščeno leta 1953, posmrtni ostanki pa so bili preneseni na novo pokopališče poleg župnijske cerkve nekaj 100m višje po cesti.

The first Church in Tržišče, in front of which are you stand, was enlarged from the chapel, which was built in the 13th century. In the 17th century it was enlarged to the Romanesque church. The entire interior of the chapel is painted with frescoes, which are now plastered. The frescoes belong to the Friulian painting direction from the period around 1400. The cemetery next to the church was abandoned in 1953, and the remains were transferred to a new cemetery next to the parish church some 100m higher along the road.
