A countryside loop of around 4-5 miles following footpaths across fields.
Collecting clues to reveal a bonus cache dedicated to my Geocaching buddy, Archie the Westie. It's my first attempt at a series or loop, so hopefully you will enjoy it. The logical way would be to start at ⌗1 and work your way around to the last one, as it would mean less walkingt o the bonus cache.
I've lived nearby for nearly 30 years but never bothered to dog walk across these fields, however the Covid-19 pandemic forced me to find more local routes, and what a great route this is.
It makes me realise we don't have to travel far to enjoy the countryside, especially when it's right on our doorstep.
For the most part the footpath is clear, however it gets narrow and tricky due to nettles between the 1st and 2nd cache in the loop. Sadly a few wobbly styles, so take care.
You will need to bring a pen and paper to record in log and also note down the clues for the optinal bonus cache.
Please replace the cache in the exact same way that you found it, for obvious reasons.
Some of the footpaths cross the field in a straight line, however to avoid trampling crops walk around the edge of the fields.
