Another Rancho San Antonio cache, this one near the Hidden Villa border. Climbing Black Mountain is my all-time favorite workout hike, and the Rhus Ridge parking lot is a good starting point. This cache is a short detour off the Black Mountain trail. Hidden Villa is also lovely, when open.

This cache is about two miles and 1000 feet of elevation gain from the Rhus Ridge parking lot. Note, there is limited parking.
