♫ ♫ In The Air Tonight ♫ ♫
A great day can be had at Otterspool with open fields, riverside walk, woodland walk, children's play area, skatepark, cafe, and pub, all in one beautiful riverside location.
Plentiful free parking is available at Otterspool Promenade. Alternatively, Otterspool has great public transport, with buses at Aigburth Vale and trains at Aigburth station. For the more energetic, you can take the riverside walk from The Albert Dock to Otterspool or vice-versa, with a lot of caches in between.
The strange tall cast iron post is actually an air vent. Otterspool was built on a former tip using waste from the building of the Queensway Tunnel in 1950, and household general waste. This waste formed gases which needed to be released somehow, hence why there are vents dotted around the area.
In all areas, at all times, this can be a very high muggle zone, so please be discreet and use care when retrieving and replacing this cache as it is homemade and not easily replaced.
Enjoy.
