The C&D power trail was created 9 years ago, consisting of caches C&D 01 through C&D 127. Few people noticed that there were only 126 caches and that C&D 65 was missing. When the C&D caches were placed, a mystery puzzle cache (GCRCF8 Along the Dam by Horn229) with hide location slighly off the canal in the wildlife area was overlooked. That created a proximity issue with C&D 65, so that cache was never published.
Since Along the Dam was recently archived, it was time to correct this issue. The C&D canal has had signficant changed with lower gravel road along the canal that you could drive on replaced with paved hiking biking trail. Using parking coords and Access Road waypoint, you can drive in on gravel road and park where the paved Castle trail makes loop off of the canal due to stream crossing. Its less than 0.2 walk down the trail to the cache.
