The Carpenter's Nightmare
Allsopp Park is one of my favorite parks in Little Rock as it gives residents access to great hiking trails in the middle of town. This park is filled with creeks, elevation changes, sprawling english ivy, and interesting flora and fauna. This cache is located in the North Section of Allsopp Park, the lesser traveled side of Allsopp park, and should make your time avoiding muggles a bit easier. I recently moved into the neighborhood closeby, Hillcrest, and figured it was time to put in some new caches to showcase the beauty of this park!
On to the cache. The name of this cache will become very clear once you find the cache and is a clue itself. It will take some close examination and some critical thinking to get to the cache itself, so bring a witty friend along. The coordinates were taken under tree cover, so they might not drop you right on top of the cache, but should get you close enough. The cache itself is pretty large, but the container with the log is about the size of your fist, so if you're going to bring an item to swap make sure it is on the smaller side.
You will have to get off trail a bit, so bring bug spray or long pants/long socks along with you in the Summer/Spring months as there can plenty of mosquito/tick/whathaveyou activity. We want all the creepy crawlers staying in the park and not coming home with us. Also, this park can get pretty swampy when there is enough rain, so if you're going to brave any wet conditions, I suggest using the Beechwood Trailhead
This is my first cache to make, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
