SolWalk74's Voyage Home Toward 1,000 Finds! Traditional Cache

halemeister: Sounds like this one is missing, and I have no plans on checking on it anytime soon. Sad to see this one go, but all it's doing at this point is taking up space on the map.

Geocache Description:

Congratulations goes out to a long time friend of mine finally making his 1,000th geocache find! I have known SolWalk74 for more than 20 years, and taught him and his kids about the game of geocaching. We've had numerous adventures together, and I took him to his first ever mega event in July of 2019.

SolWalk74 made his 1,000th find at a special place to him - Riverside, Iowa. It's the future birthplace of Star Trek Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk! Growing up watching the original Star Trek series, SolWalk knows all the characters, stories, and sub-plots. It's really nerdy listening to him ramble on about klingons, spacecrafts, and alien life form on other planets.

Hidden in Point Rock Park in the village of Mount Carroll is an ammo can for your finding pleasure.

As usual, I have let the FTF for a commemorative cache go to the person it's hidden for. Enjoy the short hike out to this one, and remember to tradde up or even on swag.
