McCarrs Creek Road is part of what has become an increasingly popular circuit for cyclists. A winding challenging circuit is formed by McCarrs Creek Road, West Head Road and General San Martin Drive. Cyclists can continue along West Head Road to West Head and its wonderful views for 12 or so kilometres before returning and turning down General San Martin Drive for a really challenging ride.
This cache is placed on McCarrs Creek Road close to Terrey Hills. It is not unusual for several hundred cyclists to pass by on a week end and dozens on a week day. The road verge is quite wide here so you will have no trouble getting right off the road. If approaching from the tennis club or restaurants nearby watch for traffic and cyclists.
