We are so fortunate to live within walking distance of Dred Scott Park.
In addition to some great caches, there's:
- 11 ballfields with softball leagues
- 3 sand volleyball courts
- a playground
- 2 basketball courts
- an 18 hole mini-golf course
- batting cages with
- 5 Fastpitch Softball options from 45mph-65mph
- 3 Slowpitch Softball cages
- 4 Baseball options from 45mph-80mph
- 6 tennis courts
- 2 soccer/football fields
There's also a shaded picnic area.
We love having it so close though have CITO'ed many cigarette butts last maintenance run. Hopefully folks take note that NO roads allow tobacco. We've also recently been seeing/hearing fireworks coming from the park, so remember DO NOT operate fireworks within. Other than that, it's an amazing park. Please enjoy everything to do as much as we do!
