Placed on Juneteenth to honor the Scotts.
How many parks have you been to and never learned where they got their name? I am honored to live near a park named after Dred Scott.
In 2013, there were interpretive plaques placed around Dred Scott Playfield commemorating the story of Dred and Harriet Scott. Stage one brings you to one of these plaques where you can learn about the Scotts and get the information needed to find the final.
