This mural is made up of three main panels. They depict several images to do with local history and legend including Sir Bevois, the Stag Gates, the Titanic, a suffragette and Bevois Mount House. You can also see a map of the area from 1905. Overlooking everything is Alexander Pope’s quote “This place is beautiful beyond imagination”. It is very hard for us residents of the 21st century to sweep away the buildings, the roads and the wheelie bins – and envisage the wonderful landscaped gardens of Pope’s era.
The cache itself is hidden somewhere where you can see the mural. This is a busy area - please be stealthy in your hunt and replace with care. You are looking for a large micro/small small screw-top pot
