Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the northern end of the long line of tors which border the west side of the Taw valley all the way from Steeperton Tor over 2 miles away. There is some confusion as to the name of this tor as Hemery appears to have called it Tors End, but this name now appears to be used for the much smaller outcrop of rocks to the North West. I have therefore called it Tors End South.

The weather on Dartmoor can change suddenly and unexpectedly and ALL types of weather conditions can be experienced. Please ensure that you have the correct clothing and map & compass (and know how to use them). Please do NOT rely solely on your GPS.

I would like to thank the Dartmoor National Parks Authority for their kind permission to place this cache which complies with their geocaching guidelines.
