Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT) is a local bus service that offers service within the City of Santa Maria and in Orcutt.
Most SMAT routes connect at the Santa Maria Transit Center, 400 E. Boone Street.
SMAT also administers the Breeze Bus that connects Santa Maria, Vandenberg Air Force Base and Lompoc.
